URL's amigables en Joomla
En esta oportunidad vamos a tratar un tema muy importante en lo que a un sitio Joomla en producción se refiere. Las Url's amigables nos van a permitir en muchos casos tener mejores relaciones y entendimiento con los buscadores lo que puede representar una mejora en el posicionamiento.
Normalmente cuando un sitio Joomla instalado en el servidor arroja direcciones o links en los navegadores de la siguiente forma: http://www.nombredetusitio.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=82&Itemid=94 o quizá mucho más extenso. Queda mucho mejor cuando se ve una dirección de este tipo : http://www.nombredetusitio.com/articulos/titulo-del-articulo.html
Recordar siempre que para cualquier nuevo experimento o prueba tener a mano los correspondientes back-ups tanto del sitio como de la base de datos.
Para lograr nuestra rutina vamos a explicar como lograr esta tarea en los siguientes pasos.
1ro. Descargamos un componente Artio JoomSEF (en este caso).
2do. Accedemos al panel de control del sitio Joomla y en configuración global en la pestaña sitio modificamos tal como muestra la imagen y guardamos los cambios.
3ro. Luego en el panel de control de Joomla nos vamos a Extensiones -- Instalar/desinstalar y ubicamos el componente que hemos descargado y lo instalamos, nos saldrá esta pantalla.
4to. Fijarse en la raíz del sitio se habrá creado un archivo con la extesión .htacces, debemos abrir este archivo (recomiendo el notepad++) y copiar ahí el siguiente código reemplazando al que existe por defecto.

5to. Localizar en el panel de control Componentes---> Artio JoomSEF y tendremos esta vista.
6to. Presionar en la opción de configuración de Artio JoomSEF y realizar los siguientes ajustes de configuración.
7mo. Guardar los cambios y visulizar los nuevos links desde el front-end de tu sitio Joomla.
